BIO

Born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine.

As kids, my brother and I had an Agat-18k camera. We developed pictures in the bathroom, which, at the time, seemed like magic. I still vividly remember the smell of the drying photo paper.

My first passion was nature photography, following my unforgettable visit to Northern California in 2004. Seeing the Pacific Ocean for the first time was a near-religious experience for me.

In 2011, I branched out into wedding photography, to help support my passion.

During the 2014 Euromaidan revolution in Ukraine, I covered the events for the “Portuguese Weekly” (VISÃO). I also had my first solo exhibition (IEV, Kiev 2014).

In April 2014, I moved to Portugal, where I established myself as a commercial photographer.

In 2018, I realized that I needed to create a different type of photography, more meaningful and insightful, my hope of changing our world, even if ever so slightly.

I am currently focused on bringing awareness to social issues.
